Busytown Goes to the Museum

This Sunday Busytown comes to life at the Magic City Discovery Center!

Children will have to opportunity to do a hands-on activities with their favorite Richard Scarry characters. Beverly Baboon, the Busytown librarian, will assist children in a book organizing game as well as a bookmark craft. Another center will feature an airport where children will investigate the check-in process and create paper airplanes and boarding passes. The recycling center and the post office will collaborate to make envelopes out of recycled paper and teach children to address and mail envelopes.

Although hosting MSU students have aimed to gear activities to toddlers through elementary-age children, it’s hard to imagine that older siblings wouldn’t enjoy getting in on the fun!

Come support Minot’s only children’s museum while also psyching yourself up for the Make a Scene Kids spring production of “Busytown”!
